About HubBox

HubBox is a specialist ecommerce technology company focused on one thing: making it easy for online retailers to offer pickup point delivery to their customers.

We connect retailers to a global network of over 250,000 pickup locations — including carrier stores, lockers, supermarkets, convenience stores, and Post Offices — through a suite of flexible software solutions that integrate directly into your checkout experience. Whether you're a global enterprise or a growing brand, HubBox gives your customers the freedom to choose where and when they collect their orders.

The Problem We Solve

Home delivery is expensive, unreliable, and increasingly unpopular with shoppers. Failed deliveries cost retailers money, frustrate customers, and generate unnecessary carbon emissions. At the same time, customers expect more choice and control over how their orders arrive.

HubBox solves this by making it simple for retailers to offer pickup as a first-class delivery option — without the complexity of building and maintaining carrier integrations from scratch.

What We Do

HubBox provides the software layer between your ecommerce platform and the carrier networks that operate pickup point infrastructure. Our technology handles:

Beyond the software, the HubBox team acts as a strategic partner — supporting you through onboarding, integration, testing, and ongoing optimisation.

FAQs

Does HubBox manage the carrier networks and pickup locations?

No. HubBox provides the software that connects your checkout to carrier networks. The carriers themselves (UPS, DPD, Evri, Royal Mail, etc.) manage the physical pickup point infrastructure, parcel handling, and delivery operations. HubBox's role is to make it fast and simple for retailers to access those networks through a single, consistent integration.

Which ecommerce platforms does HubBox support?

HubBox offers native plugins or cartridges for Shopify, Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento 2, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce. For custom or headless storefronts, HubBox provides a JavaScript SDK and the @hubbox/single-widget-manager library, which works with any frontend framework or vanilla JavaScript.

What does the integration look like from a customer's perspective?

During checkout, customers see a pickup option alongside standard home delivery. Selecting it opens the HubBox Widget — an interactive map showing nearby pickup locations. The customer searches by postcode or zip code, selects a location, and confirms their choice. The order is then shipped to that location by the carrier, and the customer receives a notification when it's ready to collect. Customers typically have 7 days to collect their parcel.

Is there a sandbox environment for testing?

Yes. HubBox provides a fully isolated sandbox environment for development and testing. The sandbox Widget is available at sandbox.frame.hub-box.com and uses separate authentication and domain whitelisting from production. Contact your HubBox Integrations Manager to get your sandbox configId and domain whitelisted.

How are software updates handled?

HubBox operates a single-core software model. Updates, bug fixes, and new features are automatically rolled out to all clients — no action is required on your side. This means you are always on the latest version of the software and benefit from new features as soon as they are released. Feature requests from clients are reviewed and incorporated into the HubBox development roadmap on a case-by-case basis.
